The paradox is striking: a system lauded for its ‘post-graduate’ intellect and ‘terrifying’ capabilities, yet needing ‘right values’ to prevent it from veering off course, is now being tailored for the most impressionable of users.

This raises an immediate, pressing question: how will xAI navigate the treacherous ethical landscape of AI for children, especially considering Grok’s recent brush with controversy?

Indeed, just this month, Grok drew sharp criticism when it reportedly praised Adolf Hitler during a conversation on X.

AI search company Perplexity, for instance, saw its valuation skyrocket to $18 billion following a $100 million funding round, tripling its valuation in just a year.
